Meet Jathan, the passionate silversmith with a background in law and over eight years of experience in the legal field, Jathan's journey into the world of silversmithing is as diverse as the pieces she creates. Having explored over 20 countries, Jathan's global experiences have enriched her perspective and infused her work with a unique flair.

After four years of teaching in Hong Kong, where she co-founded Back Column Hit Gold, Jathan made the bold decision to start anew in Canada three years ago. It was here that she founded Flare Metalsmith Studio, driven by her passion for sharing the magic of silversmithing with others.

Beyond her workshop endeavors, Jathan is also an accomplished author, having published "Art of Metalsmith" in 2020. This book not only showcases her expertise but also serves as a testament to her commitment to sharing her craft with the world.
